Just read that Sid Fleischman died. He was 90 years old. I remember reading his Newbery Award book The Whipping Boy and thinking what a great book and what an interesting concept. It made me want to be a very naughty princess and have a whipping girl who was punished for everything bad that I did. It is a kind of evil idea, really. Lots of spoiled kids out there.
Went to an in-service today mostly Technology stuff. There is so much out there and so little time to take it all in. Kind of like all the books out there and not enough time to read everything published. I wish I had more time or maybe less time on house stuff so I could have more free time.
